My photo (the one from Daryl's blog) and the one above was snapped at Meg Magazine's 10th Anniversary Party. Sayang I didn't get to take a picture of Daryl's outfit. I LOVE the hair, though!

So yeah, I love Meg. My first published styling job appeared in it. They hired me to style when I didn't even know how to pull-out! Haha. Anyway so the party was fun. Of course, the whole editorial team was there, looking fabulous in plaid:

I have lots of updates but I'm staying in belair right now and I can't find my card reader so I can't transfer pictures.

Anyway, so, yeah you all probably know how much I love old movies. You also probably know Paul Newman died last Friday. It isn't really a surprise since hearing of his diagnosis on TV a few months ago but it's definitely saddening.


Paul Newman would easily be one of my all time favorite actors. The magnetism he exudes is unbelievable, on and off-screen. I'll never forget "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof." He's the only actor who shared a scene with Liz Taylor where I looked ~NOT~ at Liz, but him.



Well, maybe it's because he's one of the hottest guys in history. HAHA!



Maybe it's because you can't help but love the guy whenever you see him on ET or whatever, talking about his charities. Aminin, he's a cute lolo. Hehe.

The Newman's Own Foundation, which has donated over $250 million for charities worldwide, and the Hole in the Wall Camps for children with life-threatening diseases.

Whatever it is... Paul, you will never be forgotten.

Once upon a time I bought 4 DVDs at the same time...

 

I looked at them and I realized: At least two of them have something to do with serial killers. All of them are bloody.

Check out slambooks I signed back in elementary and highschool, my favorite movies were I Know What You Did Last Summer, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream, and Urban Legends. I also LOVE watching Crime Solving shows in Discovery and Fox Crime.

Serial Killers are always in my dreams.

I force myself to cringe during gory scenes just to be normal and I also like killing cats.

Ok, the last sentence isn't true. Haha!

A couple of weeks ago I got a message from Martin telling me he wanted me to photograph his 2008 Philippine Fashion Week collection. Him being one of today's hottest designers (yes naman!), I was super excited.

Martin and I go way back. Back in my highschool days making websites here and there. Martin and I both had Christina Aguilera fansites. Haha! Mine was a general fansite, his was a fashion website. Both were relatively popular, ha!

I struggled to find some remnants of my old website, like a screenshot, but this is all i found:

We've been online friends ever since but we've never actually met in person until the shoot!

Anyway so it took a little less than two weeks for us to organize the shoot. Location, models, and everything. We decided to shoot on a Sunday, September 14. Around the same time I was sourcing and pulling out stuff for a few shoots I'm styling for Meg Magazine scheduled for Monday, the 15th naman. It was pretty crazy... Just check out my clipboard!

A few months ago, Rey Ilagan sent me a message through flickr asking if he could use some pictures [from the trip to Europe last summer] for his magazine. I thought it was gonna be one of those street style sections with small pictures like the ones in Nylon. I really wasn't expecting the picture to be THAT big. Haha!

You'd hafto buy the magazine to be able to read what's written (SALES!). All I can say is: I AM NOT 21 YEARS OLD! I'm only ~nineteen~. HAHA... But thanks for the super nice write-up, Rey!

Garage is published by Sesame Seed Creatives, Inc., the publishers of IMAGINE. Like the latter, it's also super thick (200+ pages) and of course, it's awesome. Be sure to grab a copy NOW! =)

The first time I did it was back in 3rd year highschool... I remember it hurt a lot. I'm talking about braces, you perv! Haha.

So yeah, I'm a brace-face once again (LONG STORY). I look horrible. I'm too old for this... but I really want my teeth fixed, especially the two in front.

Sooo, yesterday I was thinking of what to do on my last day of teeth-metal-freedom... I couldn't think of anything the whole day. Then finally, around midnight I went... "DUH!!!!!!"

Uhmmm... Yeah, LOL. Another round of self portraits. The paint in my room is kinda glossy and it's super hard to make lights work with it...  But it turned out ok, despite the fucked up focus.

Then I realized: "Wait, a whole head of white hair? But he didn't get old! Or is it blonde? Uhhh... his hair wasn't blonde!"

Can anybody ID the guy? Can't find any dish on the book except for Amazon and a couple other book sites...

Now, I vaguely remember Beverly Hills 90210 but I remember there was an episode where Christina Aguilera performed. I believe that was in the last season.

Oh, and how can I forget how scary Tori Spelling looked.

Anyway, so I went ahead and watched the first two 90210 episodes (aired back to back) and...

The fashion is... just... NO. They're actually ok dressed in that^ picture. Uhuh.

All the characters are likable enough...

Ok, enough about that. The whole reason for this blog is Shenae Grimes. She's the girl who plays the lead character, Alice.

She is freakishly skinny.



She's also cute naman, BUT dayuumm she kinda reminds me of... uh oh... Heidi Montag.
